"I do not recommend this State Farm office due to a lack of foresight and accountability. My home was denied coverage because of its condition—which I completely understand, as it’s a fixer-upper we’re repairing. That’s not my complaint. The problem is they did not warn us that this might be an issue before we switched. A simple disclaimer could have prevented this: "Due to the challenges of insuring certain homes, State Farm may perform on-site inspections before fully committing to a policy. If your home has deferred maintenance, trash, debris, or other concerns, we recommend discussing this with your agent and possibly keeping your current policy until after the inspection results." If I had received something like this, I would have kept my previous insurance until the inspection was done. Instead, we switched, were denied, and had to return to our prior insurer—at a higher cost. My bigger concern is that someone with a home in worse condition could be denied by State Farm, then have their original insurer also re-inspect and deny them, forcing them to scramble for coverage with other companies—and possibly end up completely uninsured. When I raised this concern, the Office Manager didn't seek to understand where I was coming from, saying they’d done all they could. John, the agent, did call later and was more understanding, but because most communication came from the Office Manager, I have very little confidence in this office to protect my interests or address future concerns."

"The staff at the John Hall agency, especially Kelly and Kadeesha, are the only reason I choose to stay with State Farm. They both have went above and beyond to keep me as a customer. Returning calls and emails ontime and when promised is important and makes me feel like I'm vital to your operations. I appreciate the time they take to explain things to me as sometimes my frustrations get in the way of me hearing what they really were trying to tell me. Overall they are the reasons I chose to stay. Thank you ladys!! Oh.. and my daughter reminds me that you guys are the only send out cards.. holiday cards. Birthday cards and customer anniversary cards. And those again make us feel special.. Thank you guys for all you do/did for me!! John"

"I’ve been with John Hall and State Farm for nearly 20 years. In that time I’ve had a car stolen, 2 cars vandalized, 1 car totaled by hail and, most recently, a major flood in the condo beneath mine. Each of the car issues were handled by John and his staff quickly, efficiently and with a smile. Kadeesha has aways answered my questions when it was time to insure a new car and is a pleasure to talk with. Most recently, when I had questions about a flood potentially coming from my plumbing, office manager Kelly Avila investigated and answered all my questions within hours. I hear insurance horror stories from friends and I simply do not relate. I cannot recommend John, Kelly and Kadeesha more highly!"

"EDIT: I wanted to edit my review to add that this agency is more worried about the Google ratings than with their customers. Since I gave this review the owner (who had NEVER talked to me before) contacted me TWICE to guilty trip me, by saying that I should have contacted him before leaving a bad review. I had expressed my issues with the agency to other 2 employees more than once, and the owner NEVER contacted me to talk about my concerns. As soon as I wrote the review he messaged me to say that I should have contacted him. This agency needs better internal communication. If his employees don't bring the customers' concerns to him that is definitely not the customers fault. Just a terrible experience all around. ************************************* ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have been with State Farm for over 8 years in a different state and never had a single issue. Since I transferred my policy to this agency is one problem after another. The agents are rude when i have questions, but are quick on bringing insurance prices up every single opportunity, without any rhyme or reason. If you want to have a good experience with insurance I would highly recommend finding a different agency."

"Mariana, I’m sorry you feel this way. You didn’t say any of this to me in our email conversations. My contact with you was actually just responding to your question about the timeframe for canceling your policy. In our conversations, I told you I wish you would have talked to me, the owner about your concerns instead of blasting us on Google. We are caught off guard by this vitriol and again, I would have appreciated the opportunity to address your concerns had you let me know what they were. In your conversation with Kadeesha on Thursday, you were cordial with her and things were pleasant until she told you she didn’t think your car maintenance issue would be covered. After that, the conversation took a completely different turn because you were upset that it wasn’t covered. I wasn’t given the opportunity to even hear your concerns to give me a chance to address them. Mariana, we wouldn’t be in business for 23 plus years and have the great reputation and positive reviews we have if we treated customers the way you try to portray here. Are we perfect? Not at all. we would however, expect and appreciate giving us a chance to address and rectify your concerns before you go and try to sabotage our reputation with now your 2nd negative review. We appreciate having you and your family as our customers and wish you all the best."

"I Fell and broke my ankle, I've been struggling for three months too get back on track. This was my insurance provider but when my insurance lapsed and canceled I tried too reinstate it but they pretty much said no. I don't know what kind of neighbor state farm thinks they are but they were not there when I needed them the most."

"Justin, your depiction of what happened is not accurate. We were extremely sympathetic to you and your situation and went above and beyond to do everything we could to accommodate you. We gave you an additional 16 days of grace period after your policy lapsed, we communicated with you several times by text, phone, and in writing to let you know when your policy would be lapsing. We even suspended your account to give you as much time as possible to get caught up. We told you what the deadline was for reinstating the policy several times to avoid you having to start over and re-qualify without any response from you. We sympathize with your injury and your situation, and understand your frustration. However, in your frustration, don’t depict totally false information about the service and treatment our agency provided to you. If you’re going to review us, please tell the full story and what actually happened. Thank you. "

"Initially I was with another State Farm agent here in town, for unfortunate reasons I had sever ties with that agent. The first initial call I spoke with Kelly, she was able to provide me with helpful insight and thoroughly walked me through the transition. As if that wasn't enough she state that John aways like to meet with his clients and go over their policies. Due to COVID19 we had to schedule over the phone meetings. I had two different phone appointments with him, to better accommodate my schedule, he work with me. Then I was able to address some concerns I've had, it's not fun going through a motor vehicle accident (hit and run) not knowing what your policy will or will not cover! He walked me through all my benefits/policy thoroughly explained and educated me on soo much, also gave me helpful insight for future planning. He and his staff are very professional, thorough and genuine down to earth people. I'm happy I made the switch for the better."
